“AVARNIYA” – ANNUAL SPORTS MEET @ BHS-BAGIKHANA – 28th Dec 2023
The campus ground of BHS-Bagikhana reverberated with the sound of buoyant music, vivid props and high octant cheers of students on 28th December 2023 .
Sports Day celebration provides a great platform to the students to showcase their talent .The day started with seeking blessings of the almighty through Bharatnatyam performance and welcoming our Chief Guest Shri Mayur Swadia (President BLCET) and the Guest of honour Shri Akash Chauhan , Shri Kedar Kulkarni -eminent sports personalities at National Level and also an alumni of BHS-Bagikhana. Parents and guests then witnessed the most disciplined rhythmic parade by the four houses of school along with their captains and in charge teachers.
Oath taking ceremony was held to inculcate sportsman spirit for life. Ceremonial torch lighting was done by the Chief Guest, Principal Madam and the Guests, then the torch was handed to our students who represented and won at national and state level games. The Sports meet was declared open and colourful balloons representing our four houses filled up the beautiful morning sky.
It was heartening to see BHSites root for their respective houses and give their best to win the coveted house trophy. Students of Champions Academy of BHS-Bagikhana presented a scintillating performance of Judo, Gymnastics and Karate thereby mesmerized parents and made them proud.
Shri Jagdish Shukla, Treasurer, BLCET, District Sports Office, Mr Dinesh Kadam and Kabbadi Rashtrapati award Shri Ajit sinh gajubha Jadeja who represented India in 1982 asiad games were guest of honour for the closing Ceremony.
