Baroda High School – Bagikhana, an established educational institute since 1961, has about 1535 students in the Pre-Primary/ Primary section and about 477 students in the Secondary and Higher Secondary sections (Science Stream). It is an English Medium co-educational school managed by The Baroda Lions Club Education Trust and it follows the Gujarat State Education Board curriculum.
We take immense pride in the fact that we are among the first ones to begin with English medium education in Vadodara. Our teachers are well qualified and rigorously trained to perform at the best of their capabilities whilst keeping in mind the need to include creative and innovative ideas in their teaching methodology to prepare responsible and sensible citizens of future India.
The school is spread in sprawling area of 127681.50 square feet and is home to almost one hundred fully grown trees and a huge playground consisting of basketball, volleyball and kho-kho pitch.
We are also well equipped with primary amenities like separate Computer Labs for Primary and Secondary section. Well-resourced Music room, Dance room and Library with around 8000 books. Ranging from Kindergarten books, fictional/non fictional, analytic to self-help and encyclopaedias on various subjects. For overall physical and mental well-being of our students, we have incorporated various sports activities and have included certain scholastic and co-scholastic facilities in our curriculum.
Chiefly consisting of in-house and collaborative programs like- Student Police Cadet (SPC), ATL (Atal Tinkering Lab), TFJ (Tod-Fod-Jod) etc.
