PARENTS SPORTS MEET @ BHS-BAGIKHANA – 21st Dec 2024
On 21st December 2024, Baroda High School-Bagikhana, primary section organized a Parents Sports Day. The event took place on the sprawling ground of the school. BLCET, Treasurer Shri Jagdish Shukla sir was the Chief Guest and Ms Trupti Nagurkar, International Mallakhamb Judge was the special guest for the event. Before the events of the day began, the Chief Guest motivated student with an inspiring speech. The sports meet was declared open by releasing a bunch of balloons into the sky. Parents felt privileged to hold and run with the ceremonial torch. Parents did an impressive march past and then participated in events like cone race, hurdle race, three-legged race, Lemon and spoon race. The Surya Namaskar and Zumba drill by parents was vivacious and mesmerizing. The school had made arrangements for refreshments for both parents. The parents had a very exciting and a fun day on the school ground which kindled fond memories of their childhood. A proper prize distribution ceremony was held and medals and certificates were given to them. All the staff members of the school were very thrilled on hearing a very positive feedback from parents for the innovative sports day idea. The event was covered by media. Principal Madam thanked everyone for their presence and support, and congratulated the parents for their exceptional performances.
